Job Description:

The Civil Lab Instructor is responsible for conducting practical sessions and assisting students in understanding civil engineering experiments. The role involves maintaining lab equipment, preparing for laboratory classes, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment in the civil engineering laboratory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct and demonstrate civil engineering lab experiments as per academic syllabus.

Guide students in performing practical work and using lab equipment correctly.

Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and tools regularly.

Prepare lab manuals, worksheets, and experimental setups in advance.

Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the laboratory at all times.

Maintain inventory of lab materials, tools, and equipment.

Assist faculty in research and project-related lab work.

Maintain records of student attendance, lab performance, and grades.

Troubleshoot and report any malfunctioning of lab equipment.

Support in organizing technical workshops and lab training sessions.
