Job Purpose:

To manage the end-to-end procurement process of all Civil and Interior (C&I) materials, finishes, furniture, and subcontracted works for commercial interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely sourcing, cost control, quality compliance, and vendor management to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement & Sourcing

  • Review BOQs, GFC drawings, and material specifications shared by design and project teams.
  • Identify and source vendors for civil, interior, and finishing materials (gypsum, paint, flooring, partitions, ceilings, joinery, etc.).
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations and prepare comparative statements (techno-commercial).
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Issue and track Purchase Orders (POs) in line with project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to site as per execution requirements.

2. Vendor Management

  • Develop and maintain a vendor database for civil, interior, and finishing items.
  • Conduct vendor pre-qualification, performance evaluations, and audits.
  • Coordinate with vendors for samples, mock-ups, and technical approvals.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and quality consistency.

3. Coordination & Documentation

  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Design Departments for material finalization and delivery planning.
  • Liaise with Stores and Accounts for goods receipt, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain records of inquiries, quotations, POs, delivery challans, GRNs, and invoices.
  • Prepare procurement status reports, material trackers, and cost summaries for management review.

4. Cost Control & Compliance

  • Ensure all procurement aligns with approved budgets and timelines.
  • Explore alternate materials/vendors for cost optimization and better value engineering.
  • Adhere to company's procurement policy, documentation standards, and audit requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of interior materials, furniture, finishes, and civil work components.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (Spine / SAP / Tally ERP).
  • Strong coordination and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical and cost-conscious approach to procurement.
  • Understanding of commercial fit-out project workflows and timelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Supply Chain / Business Administration.
  • 4–10 years of experience in C&I Procurement within interior fit-out / construction industry.
  • Experience with commercial, retail, or corporate interior projects is mandatory.

  • Coordinates With: Design, Project Execution, Accounts, Vendors
