Service Engineering is building services and user-centric web apps to automate and streamline the use of Seismic. As a software engineer on our geographically distributed team you will design, test, and frequently ship high quality code spanning a wide range of projects. We are looking for generalists comfortable with lots of moving pieces, learning new technologies and systems, and experience applying feedback to rapidly iterate.

Who you are:

• A focus on building excellent user experiences with close attention to detail
• Experience maintaining a high level of software quality without spending increasing amounts of time maintaining tests
• Proven expertise in C# design and development, with strong object-oriented programming skills and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience and solid understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with the ability to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly OpenAI or similar conversational AI models, and a general understanding of how to integrate or leverage them in software applications.
• Engineering skills to consistently uphold best practices in security, reliability, and design
• The perseverance to debug complex problems across the whole stack
• The ability to converse with the occasional customer and get to the bottom of their needsPlease note this 2 PM -11pm IST shift

What you'll be doing:

• Create and own end-to-end solutions integrating a wide range of systems, technologies, and processes
• Collaborate with a diverse group of experts in solutions architecture, operations, and other engineering teams to delight internal and external users

You could work on:

• Crafting and refining onboarding experiences
• Intuitive data exploration tools
• Integrating datastores, content repositories, and management systems with the Seismic platform
• Building a distributed job queue

Some technologies we use include .Net Core, Jenkins, Terraform, serverless, K8s, SQL, React, New Relic, LogEntries, Azure, AWS and others.
