Key Responsibilities

  • Study of reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the equipment.
  • Preparation & self-checking of Basic and detail drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting Supervisor/Engineer.
  • Develop sub assembly & assembly drawing based on based on basic engineering drawings and related data or as per the inputs from supervisor.
  • Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Check and modify the drawings for manufacturing parameters as required.
  • Preparation and self-checking of Onboard equipment piping.
  • Secure approval from checker and submit the drawings to supervisor/Engineer.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Diploma or ITI or B.E. Mechanical or Equivalent.
  • Exp. Range - 3 to 5 Years.
  • Working experience on equipment engineering for heavy machineries.
  • A thorough hands-on experience on CREO and AutoCAD are must.
  • Should be conversant with various National & International Standards.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with welding and machining symbols.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with assembly processes.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with of Fits/Tolerances, Geometric Tolerances and Dimensioning. Behavioural Skills:
  • Able to communicate/report technical issues effectively with the reporting engineer/manager.
  • Steel EPC's / heavy design engineering consultancies from cement/metal.
  • Exposure to Steel Plant /Nonferrous Making Equipment will be an advantage.
