Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SOC Manager to lead our Security Operations Center team. The SOC Manager will be responsible for overseeing security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and mitigation efforts to protect the organizations information systems. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to manage the SOC team effectively and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the SOC team, including security analysts and engineers.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOC processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Oversee continuous monitoring and analysis of security events, logs, and alerts.
  • Coordinate incident response activities, ensuring timely detection, investigation, and remediation of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and other business units to enhance security posture.
  • Manage and optimize security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Develop and conduct regular training and simulations for SOC staff.
  • Prepare and present SOC performance metrics, reports, and executive briefings.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners related to SOC operations.
