Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Scribe to assist physicians by documenting patient encounters in real time. The scribe will ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical records, allowing healthcare providers to focus more on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) under physician supervision.
  • Record patient history, physical exam findings, lab results, procedures, and treatment plans.
  • Organize and manage medical documents including diagnostic reports and discharge instructions.
  • Review and edit notes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation.
  • Keep track of physician preferences and workflows to improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related medical field preferred.
  • Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Typing speed of at least 40–60 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (like EPIC, Cerner, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, especially for remote US-based clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a medical scribe, transcriptionist, or in clinical documentation.
  • Certification as a Medical Scribe Specialist is a plus.
  • Understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
