About the Role

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on data management and verification for RapNet, VDB (Virtual Diamond Boutique), and internal databases. The ideal candidate must have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our diamond and jewelry data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Verification
  • Upload, review, and maintain product listings on RapNet, VDB, and internal platforms.
  • Verify diamond/jewelry data such as carat, cut, clarity, color, certificates, pricing, and stock availability.
  • Cross-check vendor feeds and internal records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excel & Data Analysis
  • Create and manage large Excel datasets with advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting, and data validation.
  • Automate repetitive data-checking processes using Excel functions/macros.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Quality Control
  • Ensure consistency of product data across multiple platforms.
  • Detect and correct errors, duplications, or missing information.
  • Maintain updated records and follow strict accuracy standards.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, macros).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in RapNet, VDB, or jewelry industry data management is a strong plus.
  • Ability to handle large datasets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Graduate in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry industry standards.
  • Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work with CSV, XML, or API-based vendor feeds.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
