Overview

As the PDI (PreDelivery Inspection) InCharge, you'll ensure all vehicles meet the highest quality, functional, and aesthetic standards before delivery. This includes managing the inspection workflow, leading the team, coordinating with multiple departments, and optimizing processes for seamless customer handover.

Key Responsibilities (adapted for Navi Mumbai context)

Inspection & Quality Control

• Supervise and execute thorough pre-delivery inspections per OEM and company standardschecking for defects, ensuring functionality, and verifying accessory fitment.
• Maintain documentation such as checklists and reports to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the PDI and detailing team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed.

Process & Quality Workflow Management

• Ensure cleanliness, polishing, and accessory installation are up to showroom standards.
• Identify recurring issues and implement corrective or preventive actions to minimize defects.

Coordination & Delivery Readiness

• Liaise with Sales, Service, Logistics, and Quality Assurance teams to align schedules, resolve last-minute issues, and ensure timely deliveries.

Documentation & Compliance

• Verify all required vehicle documentation is complete and maintain accurate records. Apna+1
• Ensure compliance with OEM, company, and regulatory guidelines.

Inventory & Tools Management

• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables; ensure proper storage and handling in the stockyard or workshop.

Customer Experience

• Deliver vehicles in showroom condition.
• Coordinate with delivery executives to facilitate smooth handovers and support a high-quality customer experience.
