Master Data Management (MDM) is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and operations of master data across the organization, with a strong focus on SAP systems This role ensures data integrity, consistency, and quality to support business operations and decision-making.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Master Data Analysts and Coordinators.
  • Define and implement global SOPs for master data lifecycle management.
  • Oversee creation, maintenance, and governance of master data in SAP (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance).
  • Collaborate with business data owners to define data standards and improve data quality.
  • Drive data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Support SAP implementation and data migration projects.
  • Monitor and report on data quality KPIs and metrics.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for continuous improvement in data processes.
  • Provide technical support and write SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
  • Act as the MDM authority for new product introductions and financial flows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP modules
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in data governance, data quality management, and process optimization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
