About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with at least 1 year of experience in editing reels, stories, and short-form content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in content planning, editing, and execution to deliver engaging and high-performing videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form content including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Stories.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team to plan and execute video concepts.
- Add creative transitions, text overlays, effects, and background music to enhance storytelling.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and content strategies.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Work with raw footage to create polished, engaging final output within deadlines.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in video editing, especially reels and stories.
- Proficiency in editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Strong understanding of social media content trends and formats.
- Ability to plan, storyboard, and execute engaging content ideas.
- Creativity and attention to detail in storytelling and visual appeal.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics.
- Experience in content strategy and campaign execution.
- Familiarity with influencer/content creator ecosystem.
Job Type: Full-time
