Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse

Nurses are expected to be compassionate, have attentive listening skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with a genuine concern for patients and a passion to be of service and heal people. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and care. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care under direct supervision from senior staff.
Qualification: BSc. Nursing / GNM
Experience: 0-5 Years in the following departments:
Medical Surgical Ward
ICU/ NICU/PICU
Operation Theater /Scrub Nurse
Ward
Karnataka Nursing Registration is Mandatory
- To provide nursing care and restore patient's health by adhering to and implementing the set nursing protocol Critical Account-abilities:
- Provide direct patient care - implement patient care plan as per doctor's recommendation; monitor & record vital parameters
- Monitor, record & report any symptoms / changes in the patient condition to the doctors
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control protocol, medication administration and storage procedure; and during emergencies
- Document patient care services by charting in-patient & department records
- Maintain continuity of patient care through documentation & communication during shift change.
- Responsible for consumables: for the patients under her/his nursing care, accounting and indenting of consumables/ medicines & nursing supplies and ensuring the availability of the same.
- Updating on essential knowledge and skill by participating in on-going CNE (continuing using education).
- Compliance to SOP and department's protocol Skills and Knowledge:
- Nursing principles for patient care
- Quality & Safety consciousness
- Compliance with NABH protocols
- Basic Computer Knowledge
