Job Title: Commis I – Chinese Chef (Indian-Style)

Location: LA SANTE Healthy Café

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Chef (Commis I) with expertise in Indian-style Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidate will specialize in momo preparation, authentic Chinese sauces, and stir-fry techniques, while bringing creativity and consistency to our healthy café menu.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian-style Chinese dishes, including momos, noodles, fried rice, and gravies.
• Make Chinese sauces, bases, and condiments from scratch with consistent taste and quality.
• Assist in menu development and suggest new dishes aligned with the café's healthy concept.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, follow food-safety standards, and manage mise-en-place.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory for Chinese section ingredients and report shortages promptly.
• Support continental section when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in an Indian-Chinese kitchen; exposure to continental cuisine preferred.
• Good knife skills and wok handling expertise.
• Knowledge of hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18, ₹21,000.00 per month
