Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
to join our team in
India
. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize web applications across the full stack with a primary focus on

(frontend) and

(backend). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers to architect and implement solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Frontend Development: Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using , ensuring seamless experiences across devices and browsers.
• Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side applications using , following best practices for security and maintainability.
• API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between systems, ensuring robust security and performance.
• Database Management: Work with MySQL and MongoDB to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Code Reviews & QA: Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and conduct unit/integration testing to ensure quality.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve frontend and backend bottlenecks to improve speed and efficiency.
• Security: Implement best practices to safeguard against vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, SQL injection).
• Documentation: Maintain architectural diagrams, API docs, and technical documentation.
• Version Control: Use Git for collaboration, branching, and pull requests.
• Mentorship: Guide junior developers, promote best practices, and foster knowledge sharing.
• Technology Research: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and frameworks, evaluating their impact on projects.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Project Management: Manage tasks independently, estimate efforts, and deliver on deadlines.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and optimize application performance metrics.
• Code Refactoring: Improve maintainability and reduce technical debt through regular refactoring.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver successful projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate must be located in India.
• Notice period of 45 days or less, or ability to join within 45 days (Tech9 will support buyouts if permitted by your current employer).
• 7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in (component-based architecture, state management).
• In-depth knowledge of and its ecosystem (e.g., ).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with MySQL and MongoDB for schema design, optimization, and query performance.
• Experience with RESTful API development, including secure authentication and authorization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
