• BangaloreReports to : Project Manager / Scrum MasterJob Description : We are looking for a BI Lead with 6 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and dashboard development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and publishing Power BI, MS SSRS, and Tableau reports, as well as hands-on expertise with SQL and data visualization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of BI reports and dashboards based on user requirements, as well as overseeing the technical aspects of the BI process. Key Responsibilities :Lead BI Reporting & Dashboards Development :

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards based on business user requirements.
• Create detailed MS SSRS and Tableau reports, ensuring they meet the business needs.
• Develop visualizations and KPI metrics that are easy to understand and actionable for business users.

Data Source Management & Integration :

• Work with a variety of data sources including RDBMS, Cloud DB Services (preferably AWS), APIs, and Cloud-based Data Lakes/DW to gather and present data.
• Experience with ODBC and API connections to pull data for reporting.

Advanced Reporting and Visualization :

• Generate insightful visualizations using graphs and charts.
• Work on complex filters, parameters, calculated fields, custom charts, dual axes, and data blending techniques.
• Implement interactive dashboards, including advanced features such as action parameters, action sets, and other dashboard Publishing and Management :
• Publish and manage reports in Power BI, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is delivered.
• Customize and modify existing reports as needed based on changing business requirements.

Data Security & Governance :

• Ensure that the BI reports adhere to data security standards and best practices.
• Have a good understanding of data security in Power BI and SSRS reports.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and data engineers, to ensure seamless integration and functioning of BI & Support :
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide resolution for any issues related to BI reports.
• Debug and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy.

Agile & SDLC Knowledge :

• Follow best practices of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and collaborate with team members to deliver BI solutions efficiently.

Skills & Requirements :

• Experience : 6 years of experience in BI Reporting/Lead roles, with a total of 10-12 years of IT experience.

Technical Expertise :

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, MS SSRS, and Tableau for reporting and dashboard development.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying and reporting.
• Experience in creating reports and KPIs based on Cloud-based Data Lakes/DWs and integrating data from different sources.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, ETL concepts, and data analysis is a plus.

Visualization & Reporting Skills :

• Ability to generate meaningful visualizations and provide insights through graphs and charts.
• Experience with custom charts, dual-axis, and blended data for complex reporting.

Cloud & Data Connectivity :

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud database services and familiarity with APIs and ODBC connections.

Security & Data Governance :

• Knowledge of Power BI and SSRS security features for secure data access and reporting.
• Problem-Solving & Debugging : Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting BI reports.

Agile Methodology :

• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with the SDLC.Communication Skills :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

A higher degree is a plus.

• Experience : 10-12 years of total IT experience, with 6 years specifically as a BI Lead.
