We are hiring for Business Analyst for prestigious German MNC specializing in the Ophthalmic Industry for Bangalore location . The Company is renowned for pioneering advancements in eye care, are committed to enhancing vision health and improving lives globally. Purpose of the Job: - Responsible for collecting, processing and analysis of large volume of data to drive actionable insights and support business decision making. - Identify new sources of data and/or to prepare the data for analysis - Develop and process new data streams / pipelines, implement new processes and tools to enable standardized sales KPI reporting by geographies, products, customers, and FSEs Main Tasks: - Integrate data from multiple systems to provide actionable insights for strategic decision making. - Build and improve process automation that will gear the reporting and insights capabilities. - Develop and process new data streams / pipelines, implement new processes and tools to enable standardized sales KPI reporting by geographies, products, customers, and sales reps. - Responsible for helping businesses leverage data, spot trends, and identify opportunities for improvement. - They take information, visualize it, and systematically evaluate it in order to generate business -relevant knowledge - Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers - Summarizes data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders - Strong reporting skills to present insights concisely - Work closely with cross -functional teams, including sales operation analyst and commercial analysts, to understand their data requirements and develop data integration solutions to facilitate smooth data flow between systems. - Translate the business needs to concrete data use cases and prototypes. - Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store structured and unstructured data from various sources. - Build and maintain processes to efficiently extract data from multiple sources, transform it into the desired format to be used for insight generation. - Monitor data pipelines, databases, and other data -related systems to proactively identify and resolve issues. - Document processes, workflows, and best practices. Collaborate effectively with team members, IT and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Coordinate, validate, reconcile sales data in collaboration with the various business functions. - Continuous improvement mindset by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing analytics tools, databases, data collection methods, statistical methods, technology, and training methods. Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Science/Engineering/Business Administration/MBA or equivalent degree preferred Work Experience: - At least 4 years of experience - Has worked in multi -cultural and matrix/multi -sites working environments - Experience in SAP, Excel, Power BI, Advanced Excel etc Specific Knowledge: - Possess good oral and written communication skills - Good data management, analytical and BI skills
