We are seeking a Skilled and proactive IT Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for continuous security monitoring, timely patch management, and remediation of vulnerabilities across enterprise systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security best practices, tools, and compliance standards.​Monitor security dashboards, SIEM systems, and logs for potential threats or breaches.Investigate suspicious activity and coordinate incident response.Maintain up -to -date knowledge of threat intelligence and vulnerability disclosures.Regularly apply security patches and updates to servers, endpoints, and software applications.Coordinate with system administrators and application owners to schedule patch deployments.Validate patch deployment and ensure system stability post -update.Conduct regular vulnerability scans using tools Nessus.Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and document remediation plans.Work with IT teams to address and resolve identified vulnerabilities within SLA timelines.Track vulnerability remediation progress and provide regular reports to management.Monitor for unusual user behavior and potential insider threats.Maintain documentation for audits and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).Generate regular reports on security status, vulnerabilities, and patch compliance.Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalations, and threats.Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate remediation efforts RequirementsProven experience in desktop support or a related IT field.Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and applications (Microsoft Office Suite, browser troubleshooting, etc.)Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.​Experience with Active Directory for user account management. Excellent problem -solving skills and the ability to work in a fast -paced environment.Basic knowledge of IT security practices and principles.Familiarity with remote desktop tools and support platforms.Understanding of computer components and Diagnosis of hardware issues.Knowledge of networking basics and Troubleshooting network issues.Installing and configuring applications and Patching and updating software.Documenting issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in ticketing systems
