Job Summary:

The Visa Counselor is responsible for guiding clients through the visa and immigration process for study, work, or migration abroad. The role involves assessing client eligibility, providing accurate visa information, preparing applications, and ensuring compliance with immigration laws and documentation requirements of various countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation:
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess client needs and eligibility for various visa categories (study, work, PR, visitor, etc.).
  • Provide accurate and updated information about visa requirements, documentation, timelines, and procedures.
  • Application Management:
  • Assist clients in preparing, reviewing, and submitting visa applications and supporting documents.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness of all application files.
  • Follow-Up & Coordination:
  • Liaise with embassies, consulates, and visa centers to track application status.
  • Keep clients informed about their application progress and address queries promptly.
  • Customer Relationship:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through professional communication and service.
  • Handle client concerns or issues with empathy and problem-solving attitude.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Stay updated on immigration policies, visa regulations, and documentation changes.
  • Maintain internal reports and update CRM systems regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in Business, Administration, or related field).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in immigration, education consultancy, or visa processing (freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
  • Strong knowledge of visa processes for countries like Australia, Canada, UK, USA, and Europe.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and documentation tools.
