Automation Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Integrate automation scripts with test frameworks (e.g. TestNG).
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Collaborate with manual testers to identify automation candidates.
• Participate in framework design and reusable component development.
• Maintain test data and environment configurations.
• Report defects and track resolution using tools.
• Strong knowledge of Java and OOP concepts.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG.
• Familiarity with Maven, Git, and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Understanding of locators, XPath, and dynamic element handling.
• Understanding of waits, exception handling, and assertion logic.
• Exposure to Extent Reports for reporting.
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and hybrid frameworks.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot automation failures.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
