We are seeking a skilled
DevOps & Cloud Engineer
with proven expertise in
CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, backend build tools, and database management
. The candidate will play a key role in
migrating existing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows from the current infrastructure to Microsoft Azure
, ensuring smooth transitions, high availability, and scalability.

ResponsibilitiesCI/CD & Migration

  • Assess and document existing CI/CD pipelines built on
    Jenkins
    ,
    GitHub Actions
    , and custom workflows.
  • Redesign and migrate pipelines from current infrastructure to
    Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards)
    .
  • Ensure seamless integration of build tools (
    Node, Bun, Vite
    ) into the Azure ecosystem.
  • Implement secure secrets management (Azure Key Vault) and environment configurations.

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Lead the transition of infrastructure from
    DigitalOcean (droplets, managed clusters)
    and
    AWS S3
    into
    Azure equivalents
    (VMs, App Services, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Database services).
  • Manage hybrid environments during migration (DigitalOcean + Azure coexistence).
  • Optimize Azure cost management, scaling policies, and monitoring setups.

Backend Build & Runtime

  • Deploy and maintain applications using
    PM2
    on
    Linux-based servers
    .
  • Support and optimize builds across
    , Bun, and Vite
    environments.
  • Implement containerization strategies (Docker) to support migration paths.

Database Management

  • Plan and execute the migration of databases:
  • MySQL → Azure Database for MySQL
  • PostgreSQL → Azure Database for PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB (DigitalOcean Managed Clusters) → Azure Cosmos DB with MongoDB API
  • Ensure minimal downtime, backup strategies, and data consistency during migration.

Monitoring & Automation

  • Set up observability and logging pipelines.
  • Automate provisioning.
  • Implement CI/CD health checks, rollback strategies, and alerting mechanisms.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Partner with developers and stakeholders to align migration timelines and avoid disruption.
  • Provide knowledge transfer, training, and clear documentation for post-migration workflows.
  • Advocate for cloud-native best practices, security, and compliance in Azure.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with
    Linux server administration
    .
  • Proven track record of
    Jenkins pipeline design and migration
    .
  • Expertise with
    GitHub/Git workflows
    .
  • Practical knowledge of
    DigitalOcean, AWS S3, and Azure services
    .
  • Hands-on experience migrating workloads to
    Azure DevOps
    and
    Azure cloud services
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    ecosystems (PM2, Bun, Vite builds)
    .
  • Expertise in
    MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
    administration and migration.
  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD security and compliance
    practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Docker & Kubernetes (AKS)
    for cloud-native deployments.
  • NGINX
    for reverse proxy and load balancing during hybrid migration.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible)
    .
  • Experience with
    cloud networking
    (VNETs, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Exposure to
    multi-cloud strategies
    (DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure).
