Senior QA Engineer (Playwright + TypeScript)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for
    UI (Playwright, Selenium)
    and
    API (Rest Assured, Postman)
    testing.
  • Validate RESTful APIs including request/response, status codes, headers, payloads, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Managers, QA) to derive and execute test cases.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for
    manual and automated testing
    .
  • Perform
    E2E, integration, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
    .
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and log issues using tools like
    Jira
    .
  • Integrate automated tests into
    CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
    .
  • Generate detailed
    test reports and quality metrics
    .
  • Continuously enhance automation frameworks and QA processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in
    Playwright (TypeScript)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Rest Assured (Java)
    and API testing tools (Postman or similar).
  • Solid understanding of
    REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
    .
  • Proficiency with frameworks like
    JUnit, TestNG
    .
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and
    Git
    for version control.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science/Engineering
    or related field.
