Faculty – Data Science

Acadmiac is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Data Science Faculty to deliver industry-relevant training in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning. The role involves classroom teaching, hands-on labs, and mentoring students to become data-driven professionals.
Responsibilities
- Teach Data Science concepts, tools, and techniques
- Conduct practical sessions, labs, and real-world projects
- Train students in Python, SQL, and data analysis methods
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
- Guide students in mini-projects and capstone projects
- Monitor and evaluate student performance
- Provide academic and career guidance
- Stay updated with latest data science trends and tools
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Strong knowledge of:
- Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn)
- SQL
- Statistics & data analysis
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals
- Good communication and teaching skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching or corporate training experience
- Industry experience in data analytics or data science projects
- Knowledge of:
- Machine Learning algorithms
- Power BI / Tableau
- Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark – added advantage)
- Relevant certifications – added advantage
