Purpose Of the Position: The purpose of this position is to ensure the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbines, generator and valve in power plants, ensuring the

efficiency and reliability of the turbine and related equipment.

Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance of power system and performance monitoring such as turbines, generator, and valve systems, ensuring smooth

maintenance and troubleshooting during plant operation

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute routine erection or maintenance for TG and steam valve.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of turbine auxiliaries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in turbine systems to maintain optimal performance.
  • Perform inspections and ensure regular maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Work with the TG team to coordinate erection, shutdowns, repairs, and emergency operations.
  • Develop and update technical documentation and maintenance logs for turbines and generators.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate auxiliary systems with turbine systems.

Technical Skill:

  • Strong knowledge of turbine, generator and valve systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting turbines & generator mechanical components.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for turbines, generators and valve.
  • Knowledge of reading drawings of components.
  • High-temperature materials (superalloys, composites).
  • Heat treatment, welding, and surface coatings.
  • Root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
  • Predictive and preventive maintenance planning.

Soft Skill:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Time management and multitasking skills.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical/Power Engineering.
  • Professional certification in turbine maintenance or related field is a plus.

Experience

  • 4 - 5 years of experience in erection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbine, generator and valve systems.
  • Experience in power plant turbine, generator and valve maintenance, erection, particularly with steam, gas, or combined-cycle turbines.

Location

  • Remote, India (As per Company requirement).
