FP&A/Financial Reporting Analyst

One of leading clients in the rapidly growing international not-for-profit organisation with a mission to reduce the impacts of climate change through policy reform in the buildings sector. Having been operating as a global think-tank in buildings and climate policy for nearly ten years, we are now transitioning to a social enterprise working in the field to reform policy, principally in India and Indonesia. We therefore need to innovate many of our program and operations management, and collaboration approaches to suit a decentralised network aiming to achieve policy reforms that lead to measurable abatement of emissions, increased health and employment in a sustainable buildings sector.

To continue on this trajectory, were searching for an the Senior Associate-Finance for Role of "Global Financial Analyst" who shall be taking care of Financial Planning & Analysis, Project Budget Management and controlling and other Management Reports for client's entities set up in multiple Countries like France, Indonesia and India.

Scope of Work

1)Financial Planning & Budgeting

Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments and geographies.

Collaborate with business leaders to align financial plans with operational goals.

Build and maintain robust financial models for revenue, cost, and cash flow planning.

Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic decision-making.

Prepare the Monthly-Financial Reports, Financial Statement and MIS for the Management

Liaison with internal Auditor and External Accounting firms for getting the local books closed and issue the FInancial Statements as per local regulations/compliance

Liason with Internal or Statutory Auditors if required for their queries.

2)Management and Project Finance Reporting & Control

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and GMG and executive leadership.

Analyse key financial and operational KPIs, variances, and trends, with clear commentary and insights.

Develop dashboards and management reports for timely performance tracking.

Drive improvements in reporting timelines, accuracy, and automation.

Monitor project financial performance against the budget. Prepare periodic financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders

Track project expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources. Implement controls to minimize cost overruns and inefficiencies

Work closely with project managers, procurement & contract management, legal, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and alignment with project goals.

3)Process Improvements & Systems

Identify and drive automation and process enhancements within FP&A and reporting functions.

Implement or improve FP&A tools, ERP, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan).

Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit readiness, and finance governance.

Skills and Qualifications

Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification.

4–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A and financial reporting, preferably in a multinational or high-growth environment.

Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools and ERP systems.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP/French GAAP) and financial statements.

Proven ability to synthesize large data sets into clear insights for management.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones.

Preferred Qualities

Deep Knowledge of technical -Financial Concept

Experience working with global teams, multiple geographies and multi-currency transactions.

Consulting or NGO experience with excellent adaptation skills and stress-resilience in a dynamic working environment
