Job Responsibilities – Service Engineer

  1. Installation & Commissioning
  2. Install, configure, and test medical equipment and related systems at client sites.

  3. Ensure smooth commissioning with adherence to technical standards and safety protocols.

  4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  5. Perform routine preventive maintenance as per schedule to minimize breakdowns.

  6. Diagnose technical issues and carry out timely corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.

  7. Technical Support

  8. Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers and internal teams.

  9. Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and documentation of issues and resolutions.

  10. Customer Training & Interaction

  11. Train end-users and hospital staff on equipment operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting.

  12. Maintain professional communication and build strong relationships with clients.

  13. Compliance & Documentation

  14. Adhere to ISO 13485, CDSCO, and other regulatory requirements while servicing equipment.

  15. Document service activities accurately for audit and compliance purposes.

  16. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

  17. Ensure availability of required spare parts, tools, and consumables.

  18. Coordinate with supply chain and service manager for inventory replenishment.

  19. Escalation & Coordination

  20. Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or product specialists.

  21. Coordinate with manufacturing partners/vendors for complex repairs.

  22. Field Visits & Travel

  23. Willingness to travel across Mumbai and other regions as required for service support.

  24. Respond promptly to emergency service calls and breakdowns.

  25. Continuous Improvement

  26. Provide feedback to R&D/Production teams regarding recurring issues.

  27. Participate in training programs to stay updated on new equipment and technologies.

  28. Reporting

  29. Submit daily/weekly service reports to the Service Manager.
  30. Track service KPIs such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and equipment uptime.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
