Crescent Innovation & Incubation Council (CIIC) is a university-based incubator at BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology. Supporting 130 startups in Life Sciences, Industry 4.0, and Smart & Clean Mobility, CIIC operates as a Section-8 not-for-profit company, functioning as a "One Stop Shop – Startup Incubator." It fosters a collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystem for students, faculty, industry, investors, government, and society.

Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC) is looking for a dynamic Investment Analyst / Portfolio Manager to strengthen our fundraising and investment support for high-potential startups. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture funding.

Role Overview

As part of CIIC's core investment team, you will work closely with startups, investors, and corporate partners to build strong fundraising pipelines, manage startup portfolios, and unlock growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage investor networks across VC firms, angel groups, family offices, and CSR funds
  • Support startups in preparing investment pitches, financial models, and fundraising strategies.
  • Actively market CIIC's startups to investment firms, corporates, and ecosystem partners.
  • Manage and track the performance of CIIC's startup portfolio, providing strategic insights and reporting.
  • Facilitate deal flow, due diligence, and negotiation processes between startups and investors.
  • Represent CIIC at investor forums, demo days, and ecosystem events.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising processes, valuation, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to connect with investors and market startups effectively.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Passion for startups, technology, and entrepreneurship.
