Power BI Developer

About The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Power BI Developer to join a remote analytics team supporting enterprise customers across India. You will design, develop and operate high-performance reports and data models that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements and UX best practices.
  • Build and optimize semantic data models and star schemas; author complex DAX measures for accurate and high-performance calculations.
  • Perform data preparation and ETL using Power Query (M) and T-SQL; collaborate with data engineering to integrate with pipelines and data warehouses.
  • Deploy and manage content in Power BI Service: datasets, workspaces, gateways, refresh schedules and Row-Level Security.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize queries and visuals, and implement report governance and version-controlled deployments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into KPIs, create documentation, and provide end-user training and support.

  • Comfort working in remote, distributed teams and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
