Position Overview:

We invite applications for the position of IGCSE Economics & Business Studies Teacher. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring educator who can engage students in understanding economic principles, business dynamics, and global market trends through experiential and inquiry-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Economics and Business Studies syllabi.
  • Foster analytical thinking, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving through real-world case studies and discussions.
  • Prepare students effectively for both internal assessments and external Cambridge examinations.
  • Integrate technology, current affairs, and financial literacy into classroom learning.
  • Assess, record, and report student progress in accordance with Cambridge and school standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary learning experiences and contribute to curriculum enrichment.
  • Encourage participation in business fairs, economic simulations, and entrepreneurial projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Commerce, or related field.
  • Teaching qualification preferred (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
  • Prior experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics or Business Studies (0455/0450) or equivalent international curriculum.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to connect concepts to real-life scenarios.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills.
