Position Overview

In this role, you will provide hands-on software engineering and production support for one of our enterprise Finance Technology teams. You will be working on enterprise financial and accounting systems critical to the operational success of Evernorth Health Services, US Employer, and international business segments within The Cigna Group. The focus of the work will be to ensure the operational stability of our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application suite & Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

This is a hands-on position with visibility to the highest levels of Finance Technology management who are motivated to see the successful results of our efforts. The role focuses on enabling Cigna's financial transformation to the cloud using the latest technologies and development techniques within the Oracle cloud infrastructure stack, including Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities.

Responsibilities

· Gather requirements from Business and work on minor enhancements to existing systems and processes.

· Provide incident management and problem resolution.

· Support end user requests in a timely manner.

· Monitor environments, applications, and batch jobs.

· Coordinate with Oracle Support via creating tickets and change requests for issue resolutions, applying patches, ensuring environments are addressed for any security vulnerabilities, and database refreshes.

· Work independently on break fixes, code promotion to different environments.

· Identify gaps in the systems/applications/integrations and plug them as needed.

· Work on process improvements.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 Financial modules (GL/ AP/ FA/ CM)
• Experience in Financial Accounting Hub/ AHCS would be a plus.
• Experience in integrations with Concur, Ariba and Vertex would be a plus.
• Experience in implementation/ support of a global environment involving multiple operating units, currencies and localizations is preferred.
• SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell script, BI Publisher development
• Experience in putting together configuration/ setup (BR100) and functional design documents (MD50)
• Functional knowledge and experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is preferred.
• Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles.
• Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure environment.

Required Experience & Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline. 
• Proven experience of 6-8 years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of 4 years' experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite (R12) design, development, and implementation.
