Jr. Architect

Job Description:

Sturdy Groups is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver functional, safe, and aesthetically appealing designs aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural concepts, drawings, and detailed plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Prepare 2D/3D designs, layouts, and presentations using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure smooth project integration.
• Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and provide technical guidance during execution.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements and provide design solutions.
• Review project progress, resolve design issues, and support supervision teams.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and assist in cost estimation when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• 1-3 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of building bylaws and construction techniques.
• Excellent creative, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial building design.
• Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
