Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Librarian at Holy Mission Secondary School, located in Patna. The Librarian will manage day-to-day library operations, including cataloging, organizing, and managing library resources. Responsibilities include providing library instruction and services to students and staff, maintaining the library database, and ensuring the library meets educational standards. The Librarian will also be responsible for developing library policies, managing metadata, and promoting literacy and a love for reading.

Qualifications

  • Library Services and Library Instruction skills
  • Knowledge of Library Science and Library Management
  • Experience with Metadata
  • Excellent organizational and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field is preferred
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus
