Role & responsibilities

Experience: 6 (Minimum 3 Years on 5G Packet Core nodes such as PCC (Packet Core Controller), PCG (Packet Core Gateway)

Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree or Equivalent

Work Location: Delhi/NCR

Shift: Open to Shift 24 x 7 (European Client)

Experience Required: Must have Ericsson Packet Core Experience

  • Implementation/Commissioning, deploy and maintain Ericsson 5G Packet Core solutions (5GC & EPC) across live and test environments.
  • Must have hands on experience in Ericsson PCC (Packet Core Controller) & PCG (Packet Core Gateway) Configurations, Operation and maintenance.
  • Perform integration and configuration of Ericsson 5G Packet Core solutions including SMF, AMF, UPF, NWDAF and PCRF.
  • Support Ericsson 5G SA/NSA architecture implementation and migration strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to packet core performance, connectivity, and interoperability.
  • Troubleshooting for network element /services via various tools like RTM/ Traffica / Netact /Log monster /Wireshark etc.
  • Conduct software upgrades, patching, and health checks on Ericsson core nodes.
  • Strong understanding of 5GC & EPC architecture and protocols (GTP, SCTP, Diameter, HTTP/2, SIP etc.).
  • Proficient in managing Linux servers and workstations.

Other Skills

  • Ericsson Certifications in EPC/5GC technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud-native 5G Core deployments and slicing concepts.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, AWS) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in telecom environments.
  • Experience working in a customer facing role.
