Data Architect -Technical & Architectural Expertise

  • Deep experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, cloud-native data architectures.
  • Strong understanding of modern data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), Lakehouse architectures, and ELT/ETL paradigms.
  • Proficiency with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) across operational and analytical use cases.
  • Expertise in data integration technologies and orchestration frameworks (e.g., SnapLogic, dbt, Airflow, or similar).
  • Comfortable designing architecture patterns for real-time, batch, and streaming data use cases.

Governance, Security & Quality

  • Skilled in designing for data lineage, cataloging, access control, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
  • Experience setting up data governance frameworks and embedding quality controls into pipelines.
  • Familiar with data mesh principles and federated data ownership models.

Strategic Thinking & Enterprise Design

  • Ability to translate business strategy into data architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
  • Strong systems thinker, can architect for reusability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Able to design modular, service-oriented data products that support multiple business domains.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Effective at working with product managers, engineers, analysts, and executives to define data needs.
  • Can provide technical leadership across squads, mentoring engineers and influencing standards.
  • Experience contributing to or leading architecture review boards or governance forums.
