Rolling mill Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Electrical engineers design and develop electrical systems and components, including power generation and distribution systems, control systems, and electronic devices. They utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create schematics and models. 2
• Testing and Troubleshooting: They conduct tests to ensure systems function properly, identifying and resolving issues in electrical systems, components, or devices. This involves using specialized equipment for diagnostic testing. 2
• System Installation and Maintenance: Electrical engineers oversee the installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. They also provide ongoing maintenance to keep these systems operational. 2
• Project Management: They may manage projects involving electrical system design, development, or upgrades, coordinating with teams, vendors, and clients to meet deadlines and specifications. 2
• Research and Innovation: Engaging in research to create new technologies or improve existing systems is a key responsibility. This may involve exploring solutions in areas like renewable energy, automation, or communications. 2
• Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that electrical systems comply with national and international safety standards and regulations is crucial. Electrical engineers must design systems that minimize risks and hazards. 2
• Collaboration and Communication: They work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, requiring clear communication to relay technical information and coordinate efforts
