Job description:
Factory Supervisor

Pay: Rs. 20, Rs. 30,000.00 per month

Job Summary:

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage teams, solve issues, and maintain productivity levels across all stages of production. The Floor Supervisor plays a key role in maximizing the efficiency of the floor, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:
Supervise all production activities on the floor, ensuring that production schedules and deadlines are met.

Team Management:
Lead, coach, and motivate the floor staff to maintain high morale and performance. Manage shift schedules and daily tasks.

Quality Control:
Monitor and ensure that all products meet company quality standards. Implement corrective measures when necessary.

Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed. Conduct regular safety inspections and train employees on safety protocols.

Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in the production process and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Inventory Management:
Monitor material usage and inventory on the floor to ensure that supplies are available without overstocking.

Reporting:
Generate daily and weekly reports on production performance, staff attendance, and safety incidents. Communicate key metrics to senior management.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations, logistics, and quality control teams to align goals and ensure smooth workflow.

Salary
: Up to Rs.30,000

1 year

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering preferred.

Experience:
1+ years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing, production, or operations. Leadership experience is a must.

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of production workflows, machinery, and safety regulations.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in production management software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
