Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Architect
to design and optimize cloud-native data architectures on platforms like
Databricks and Snowflake
. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable data pipelines, drive governance and security frameworks, and enable advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions for global enterprise clients. This is a leadership opportunity for professionals passionate about shaping modern data ecosystems and mentoring data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement
    Lakehouse architectures
    using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
  • Build and optimize
    data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integration strategies
    across platforms.
  • Define and enforce
    data architecture standards, governance, and security models
    .
  • Optimize
    Databricks clusters and jobs
    for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Provide
    technical leadership and mentorship
    to data engineers and developers.
  • Integrate Databricks with
    cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
    and enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend
    new tools and technologies
    to strengthen the data ecosystem.
  • Ensure compliance with
    data privacy, governance, and regulatory frameworks
    .
  • Support
    proposal development and pre-sales activities
    with technical expertise.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in
    data engineering, architecture, or analytics
    .
  • Hands-on expertise in
    Databricks, Apache Spark, and Snowflake
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Python, SQL, and PySpark
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, data mesh, and governance principles
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Unity Catalog
    and cloud platforms (
    Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable
    ).
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    .
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and version control (GitHub).
  • Experience delivering solutions balancing
    architecture requirements with client-specific needs
    .
  • Domain experience in
    Retail
    .
  • Relevant
    technical certifications
    in cloud, Databricks, or Snowflake.
