Role Overview

We're seeking a highly technical and entrepreneurial 
Applied AI Intern
 to work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and developer experience. You'll collaborate directly with our founding team, solution architects, and customers to bridge the gap between complex AI infrastructure and practical implementation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on technical depth, loves explaining complex concepts, and wants to shape how developers build the next generation of AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Solutions Engineering

• Partner with solution architects to understand customer requirements for LLM evaluation, observability, and agentic workflow optimization
• Translate customer needs into actionable technical implementations using Future AGI's evaluation frameworks, experimentation tools, and monitoring systems
• Design and present custom evaluation strategies for multimodal AI applications (text, image, audio, video)
• Assist customers in implementing synthetic data generation pipelines and auto-annotation workflows

Technical Documentation & Content Creation

• Develop comprehensive product documentation for Future AGI's SDK, MCP server, and platform features
• Create detailed implementation guides, API references, and integration tutorials for evaluation metrics, prompt optimization, and observability tools
• Document best practices for agentic workflow testing, multimodal evaluation, and production monitoring
• Build example projects and starter templates demonstrating platform capabilities

Developer Advocacy & Thought Leadership

• Write highly technical, ahead-of-the-curve blog posts on:
• LLM evaluation methodologies and emerging patterns
• Multimodal AI reliability and performance optimization
• Agentic system architecture and testing strategies
• AI observability best practices and production monitoring
• Synthetic data generation techniques using reinforcement learning
• Publish research-backed content on prompt engineering, AI safety metrics, and model improvement workflows
• Create technical deep-dives analyzing industry trends in AI infrastructure and data-layer operations

Developer Community Engagement

• Actively participate in developer communities (GitHub, Discord, Stack Overflow, X/Twitter, Reddit)
• Answer technical queries about Future AGI's evaluation platform, SDK integration, and troubleshooting
• Provide hands-on support for developers implementing multimodal evaluations, automated prompt optimization, and real-time monitoring
• Gather community feedback and feature requests to inform product roadmap

Open Source & Innovation

• Maintain and contribute to Future AGI's open-source repositories (futureagi-sdk, futureagi-mcp-server)
• Develop sample applications, benchmarks, and evaluation templates for the developer community
• Explore and prototype new use cases for the platform across different AI modalities and domains
• Contribute to internal R&D initiatives on evaluation frameworks, optimization algorithms, and observability tools
• Build integrations with popular AI frameworks and developer tools

  : Open-source models, distilled models, chain-of-thought reasoning, self-reflection systems

  : Proprietary metrics for accuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness assessment

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Langchain, etc.)
• Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development
• Excellent technical writing skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, or developer tools
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and entrepreneurial mindset
• Passionate about staying current with AI research and emerging technologies

Preferred:

• Experience with LLM observability, evaluation, or monitoring tools (LangSmith, Weights & Biases, Arize, etc.)
• Familiarity with multimodal AI models and evaluation techniques
• Prior contributions to open-source projects or technical documentation
• Published technical blog posts, research papers, or conference talks
• Experience with agentic systems, AI safety, or production ML systems
• Active presence in developer communities (GitHub, Discord, technical forums)
• Knowledge of synthetic data generation, RL, or data augmentation techniques
• Understanding of enterprise AI requirements and deployment challenges
