Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Haldwani for a Social Worker. The Social Worker will be responsible for designing and implementing community-focused initiatives such as awareness drives, health & hygiene camps, skill training programs, and environmental protection campaigns. The role involves conducting career counselling, organizing women leadership workshops, and providing support for marginalized sections of society. The Social Worker will also work on the promotion of Microgreen Farming as a nutrition and livelihood model.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Social Development and Community Initiatives
  • Experience in organizing and conducting Health & Hygiene Camps, Skill Training Programs, and Environmental Protection Campaigns
  • Proficiency in Career Counselling, Women Leadership Workshops, and support for marginalized communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a non-profit organization or related field is an advantage
  • Fluency in local languages and understanding of local culture is highly desirable
