JUNIOR DATA QUALITY ENGINEER We're seeking a motivated Junior Data Quality Engineer to support data integrity initiatives across our organization. You'll work alongside data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure high-quality, actionable datasets that drive trusted insights and decisions. Key Responsibilities Execute data quality assessments and profiling to uncover anomalies and inconsistencies. Monitor datasets across pipelines, flagging, tracking, and documenting quality issues. Develop, run, and maintain validation routines or automated tests (e.g., scripts or tools). Collaborate with engineers and analysts to trace root causes and implement fixes or process improvements. Assist in defining data quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting structures. Document data quality standards, validation rules, and issue resolutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. Basic proficiency in SQL, including joins, CTEs, aggregate functions, window functions. Foundational programming experience (Python, R, or similar) for scripting validations or automations. Familiarity or willingness to learn ETL/data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, Databricks, Talend, Great Expectations). Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to spot inconsistencies others may overlook. Good collaboration and written/verbal communication skills to work across technical and business teams. Preferred / Nice-to-have Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience or exposure to data quality tools/frameworks . Exposure to dashboard/report validation or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Basic understanding of data modeling, indexing, views, partitions.
