Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets from multiple e-commerce platforms to uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop and automate systems for keyword and ad performance tracking across a large number of SKUs.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning to improve ad conversion rates and profitability.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to optimize ad placements and marketing spend.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to the team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement data-driven strategies.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong Data Science Acumen: Proven ability in data manipulation, statistical analysis, machine learning (regression, classification, time series), and data visualization.
  • Solid Mathematical Foundation: Deep understanding of linear algebra, multivariate calculus, probability theory, stochastic processes, and numerical methods.
  • Automation Prowess: Demonstrated experience in automating complex workflows and processes using Python scripting and/or workflow automation tools like n8n or Make.
  • Proficiency in Prompt Engineering: Demonstrated ability to effectively use and extract valuable insights from large language models and other AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini).
  • Web Scraping Expertise: Ability to design, build, and maintain robust web scrapers for extracting structured data from large e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart).

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (top of class preferred).
  • Strong background in statistics, probability, and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings in simple terms.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work Indian daytime hours (no night shifts).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with e-commerce data.
  • Familiarity with PPC advertising and marketing analytics.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic workflows, and AI-driven automation.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: 6,00,000 per annum
  • Fully remote position.
  • Working hours - 9am to 5pm IST, Monday through Friday.
