Job Title: Private Client Officer
Department: Wealth Management / Private Banking / Client Services

Reports To: Head of Private Clients / Relationship Manager
Position Overview
The Private Client Officer is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role focuses on delivering personalized financial solutions, providing exceptional client service, and supporting clients in achieving their wealth management and investment objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management skills with a deep understanding of financial products and client advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for private clients.
Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships.
Understand client needs, goals, and preferences to provide tailored advice.
Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and requests.
- Advisory & Financial Solutions
Provide guidance on investment portfolios, retirement planning, estate planning, and other wealth management solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver holistic financial strategies.
Monitor client accounts, provide performance reports, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Business Development & Client Growth
Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.
Support acquisition of new high-net-worth clients in alignment with the firm's growth strategy.
Participate in client events, seminars, and workshops to strengthen client engagement.
- Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with regulatory and internal policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
Assist in risk assessment and due diligence for client onboarding and transactions.
- Collaboration & Internal Coordination
Work closely with investment, legal, tax, and operations teams to provide seamless client experience.
Communicate client feedback and insights to inform product development and service improvements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications (CFP, CFA, or similar) preferred.
3–7 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or high-net-worth client advisory.
Proven track record in relationship management and delivering financial solutions.
Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with high-net-worth clients.
Solid understanding of investment products, wealth planning, and financial regulations.
Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
Ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
