ROLE: ForgeRock Developer

LOCATION: Bengaluru

Job Description:

  • Design, configure, deploy, and maintain ForgeRock Identity Platform products: Access Management (AM), Identity Management (IDM), Directory Services (DS / OpenDJ), Identity Gateway (IG).

Required Skills & Technologies

  • In-depth expertise with ForgeRock products (AM, IDM, IG, DS) — configuration, deployment, customization and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM / Identity concepts: access governance, identity lifecycle, RBAC, least privilege, segregation of duties (SoD), privileged access management.
  • Protocols & Standards: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, LDAP etc.
  • Programming / scripting: Java, JavaScript, Groovy, JSON, REST APIs.
  • Operating systems: Linux/Unix, Windows.
  • DevOps / infrastructure skills: CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred.
  • Good communication skills: able to interact with stakeholders, security teams, architects, product owners
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle workflows: user provisioning/de-provisioning, role-management, onboarding/offboarding.
  • Integrate IAM with applications using standard protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, SCIM, LDAP, etc.
  • Develop custom scripts, connectors, policies, and workflows using Java, JavaScript, Groovy, JSON to meet business rules.
  • Support deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines for IAM solutions, ensuring reliable, repeatable delivery. Tools can include Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo, etc.
  • Manage high-availability, performance, and operational stability for ForgeRock deployments. This includes patching, upgrades, monitoring, and debugging/troubleshooting issues in production environments.
  • Actively participate in requirement gathering, system design, and architecture discussions, working with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, DevOps, product owners).
  • Ensure compliance, governance, policy enforcement, auditing, and reporting for identity & access controls.
