Drone Pilot

We are seeking a skilled Drone Pilot with experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of UAV operations, geospatial data collection, and GIS mapping, supporting a range of projects such as land surveying, environmental monitoring, urban planning, and infrastructure inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate drones to capture high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data.

• Plan and execute flight missions according to project needs and relevant aviation regulations.

• Process, analyze, and interpret aerial data using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).

• Integrate drone-captured data with other geospatial datasets to produce maps and analyses.

• Conduct equipment inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UAV hardware.

• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international UAV regulations.

• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and clients to deliver data-driven insights.

• Maintain detailed records of flight operations and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a drone/UAV pilot with necessary certifications (DGCA, etc.).

• Strong skills in GIS software and spatial data analysis.

• Working knowledge of UAV flight planning, mission execution, and post-processing.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret and present geospatial data in reports or maps.

• Preferably a degree/diploma in Geoinformatics, Geography, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with photogrammetry and LiDAR technologies.

• Knowledge of remote sensing techniques.

• Familiarity with mapping standards and cartographic principles.

• Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Work Environment

• Field-based with travel to project sites as required.

• Office-based GIS data processing and reporting.

• Flexible hours, depending on weather and project timelines.

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
