We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer based in Chennai to manage daily site operations, construction material tracking, vendor coordination, and overall project execution, with strong technical knowledge and communication skills, and the ability to provide accurate daily site and material status reports to the Managing Director (MD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Should have good knowledge of construction materials used in civil works.
- Ability to take charge of day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per plan.
- Maintain accurate tracking of materials delivered, used, and required at site.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors for smooth workflow.
- Ensure quality control and verify work meets engineering standards.
- Monitor daily progress of site works and highlight delays or issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities and material usage.
- Should be willing to travel to different site locations as required.
- At the end of each day, prepare and submit a daily report to the Managing Director.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in site execution and material management.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and materials.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
