JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Sales Functions:

  • Customer Reception & Engagement: Welcome customers into the store with professional walkthrough of furnitures. and create a positive first impression of the Lepakshi brand

  • Requirement Analysis: Conduct detailed consultations to understand customer needs, space requirements, design preferences, and budget considerations

  • Product Demonstration: Showcase relevant furniture pieces, explain product features, materials, craftsmanship, and design elements effectively

Customization Consultation:

  • Guide customers through available customization options including fabrics, finishes, dimensions, and design modifications

  • Sales Conversion: Utilize persuasive sales techniques to convert inquiries into confirmed orders while maintaining ethical sales practice

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Provide detailed product information, pricing, delivery timelines, and after-sales service details
  • Handle customer objections professionally and provide suitable alternatives
  • Coordinate with interior design team for space planning and design consultation
  • Follow up with potential customers to nurture leads and close pending sales
  • Maintain customer database and build long-term relationships for repeat business

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Educational Background (Mandatory):
  • Interior Design
  • Furniture Design
  • Product Design
  • Architecture
  • Related Design Fields
  • Formal education/certification in any of the above fields is essential for this role.

Experience Requirements:

  • Sales Experience in furniture/interior/retail sales preferred
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Understanding of furniture industry, materials, and manufacturing processes is

    advantageous

Language & Communication Skills:

  • Telugu: Fluent (Essential for local customer base)
  • English: Good communication skills (Essential for documentation and diverse customers)
  • Hindi: Conversational level (Preferred for broader customer reach)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers

Additional Requirements:

Immediate Joiners Preferred: Ready to start within 15-30 days

Professional appearance and grooming standards

Basic computer skills for order processing and customer management

Ability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
