Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Layout Engineer to assist our team with various piping projects.

Junior Piping Layout Engineer

Bachelor s Degree /Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of Experience

Relevant Experience Minimum 2 Years & Max 3 Years.

The candidate should have the following qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Piping designing and Drafting in at least one of the following sectors: oil & gas onshore /offshore, chemical plants, power plants, renewable energy production

Standard Knowledge ASME, ASTM, API, ISO

Proficiency in software tools: Softwares SP3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Pipe Data Pro and MS Office

To be able to carry out the following activities independently:

  • Creating and developing conceptual layout design for piping systems based on project specifications.
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical documents like P&IDs, equipment datasheets and process documents.
  • Performing detailed engineering of piping layouts, using specialized software tools
  • Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure the piping layout is integrated with the overall project design.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and quality control practices.
  • Providing support and inputs for cost estimation of piping-related materials and man-hours.
  • Participating in design reviews, safety studies and constructability reviews
  • Creating and maintaining design documentation and piping layout drawings for project record.
  • Identifying and resolving engineering issues related to piping layout design and installation.
