Role Highlights:

  • Funds & Asset Management Advisory: Advise domestic and offshore investment funds, asset managers, and sponsors on fund formation, structuring, and operations.
  • Fund Lifecycle Support: Handle fund formation, documentation, closings, downstream investments, exits, and ongoing fund management matters.
  • Regulatory Advisory: Advise on SEBI regulations applicable to AIFs, PMS, mutual funds, and other asset management products.
  • Transaction Execution: Draft, review, and negotiate fund documentation, including private placement memoranda, contribution agreements, LPAs, side letters, and investment documentation.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with fund managers, investors, and internal teams to deliver commercially practical legal solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Lawyer with 4–7 years of PQE (Associate / Senior Associate / Principal Associate, depending on fit).
  • Strong hands-on experience in fund formation and asset management, including AIFs and private equity/venture capital funds.
  • Candidates from Tier 1 law firms preferred.
  • Willingness to work across Mumbai / Delhi / Bengaluru / Ahmedabad (flexibility for Mumbai-based candidates with travel to Ahmedabad where required).
  • Educational background: LLB from a reputed law school.
  • Commercially driven, detail-oriented, and capable of independently handling matters at the relevant level.
