Role Summary

We are seeking an Art Director to lead visual design and creative direction within our healthcare advertising team. The role involves bringing medical and healthcare concepts to life through compelling visuals, while ensuring brand consistency, campaign effectiveness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate medical and brand concepts into impactful visual layouts
  • Adapt layouts across various formats and platforms
  • Guide and supervise designers to maintain creative standards
  • Select appropriate colours, typefaces, and graphic elements for clarity and impact
  • Review and approve designs to ensure alignment with creative briefs and client expectations

Measurement Metrics

  • Number of pitch concepts approved
  • Number of designs approved by clients
  • Number of client-requested revisions

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Communication Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in art direction within a creative or advertising environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking, art direction, and varied design styles.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and digital production workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (strategy, marketing, production).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools for generating and enhancing creative concepts.
