This team owns, builds, and operates Guidewire's cloud native data platform and analytics SaaS offerings. Guidewire data platform is an enterprise-grade, internet-scale, and cloud-native Big Data platform targeted to be best-in-class in enabling our customers with mission critical insights and decision-making capabilities.
The platform is designed to support all of our analytics, data science, and data applications. Guidewire's data platform already processes Billions of real-time data to provide a rich set of AI/ML SaaS solutions You will work in a highly collaborative environment building next-generation platforms and services using the latest and greatest cutting-edge & bleeding-edge technologies.
You will have fun building cloud-native, enterprise-grade, and internet-scale data platforms and SaaS applications. Job Description:Required Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of work experience
Proven experience in building automation for deploying and operating cloud native SaaS services
Proficiency in data processing languages such as Python, Java, or Scala(Any one)Experience with Monitoring & Observability tools like Datadog, Open Telemetry, ELKStrong technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, storage, operating systems
Experience with open data formats like parquet, IcebergHands-on Experience with AWS and its native services, e.g. RDS, EMR, Redshift, MSK, SNS, SQS,DynamoDB,Athena,IAM,MSKUnderstand IaaS abstractions like Kubernetes/Cloud foundry/OpenShiftCI/CD pipeline ExperienceExperience with cost optimization and performance tuning of AWS resources
Experience with securing cloud native services
Hands-on Experience with container technologies like kubernetes
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Build M & O dashboards for cloud native Big Data PlatformBuild tooling for continuous deployment and operation of cloud native services
Build tooling for cost tracking of AWS resources used in Data PlatformImprove our incident management lifecycle to identify, mitigate, and learn from reliability risks
Develop deeper insights Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines for speed and efficiency.Implement data security measures and maintain data integrity across the systems.Analyze and improve performance and scalability of data pipelines and storage solutions.Monitor and maintain data workflows, ensuring consistency and reliability.Work with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to understand and implement data requirements.
