Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Mathematics Teacher to support and deliver effective teaching as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will collaborate with lead teachers to plan and implement engaging math lessons, assist in student assessments, and contribute to the academic growth of students from Grades [insert grades].

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and delivering engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Support the lead teacher in maintaining lesson plans, grade records, and assessments.
  • Provide individual or small group instruction to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
  • Participate in the preparation of worksheets, question papers, and study materials.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead teachers and parents when required.
  • Assist with remedial classes or enrichment programs as per student needs.
  • Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, changes in the syllabus, and teaching methodologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and school events.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics / B.Sc / B.A with Maths + B.Ed (mandatory for CBSE).
  • Master's Degree (M.Sc / M.A Mathematics) preferred for higher grades.
  • Prior experience in a CBSE school (0-2 years preferred for associate level).
  • Strong command over English and mathematical concepts.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and online teaching platforms.
