About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced
Test Engineer Trainer
with a strong background in
automation testing
to join our technical training team. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and test management tools, along with the ability to train and mentor aspiring QA professionals effectively.

This role focuses on
developing, delivering, and enhancing training programs
in manual and automation testing while aligning with current industry trends and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive
    training programs
    covering manual and automation testing concepts.
  • Conduct
    interactive, hands-on sessions
    on automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Develop and maintain
    training materials
    , including curriculum, exercises, assignments, and assessments.
  • Guide learners in executing end-to-end test cycles, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
  • Teach
    best practices
    in test automation frameworks, version control, and CI/CD integration.
  • Mentor and evaluate learners' progress, providing constructive feedback and career guidance.
  • Stay updated with the latest
    testing tools, technologies, and methodologies
    to keep training content relevant.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to
    continuously improve course content
    and training effectiveness.

Required Skills and Experience:

4–8+ years
of professional experience as a
Test Engineer / QA Automation Engineer
or similar role.

Strong understanding of
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
,
Defect Life Cycle
, and testing methodologies.

Practical experience with
automation frameworks
and tools such as:

  • Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle
  • Cypress, Playwright, or similar modern frameworks
  • Postman, RestAssured for API testing

Proficiency in at least one
programming/scripting language
(Java, Python, or JavaScript).

Knowledge of
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.) and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent
communication, presentation, and mentoring
skills.

Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners at different skill levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Prior experience as a technical trainer, mentor, or corporate instructor (preferred).
  • Industry certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Test Automation Engineer, or Agile Testing are a plus.
